Dr. Alex Roher founded SDBotox in 2012 to help people enhance their appearance through minimally invasive procedures. With eight locations and 20 providers, SDBotox is the leading medspa in Southern California. Seeing a barrier for medical professionals who want to start an aesthetics career, he launched the Aesthetic Training Academy to bridge the gap and provide the only truly Comprehensive Course currently available for new injectors.

Rachelle, Chief Operating Officer of SDBotox, brings over 17 years of experience in aesthetics to Aesthetic Training Academy. She began her career with Allergan, makers of Botox Cosmetic and Juvederm, and earned a strong industry reputation for empowering providers and building lasting relationships with medspas nationwide. In 2022, she consulted in career coaching and placement for aesthetic professionals before joining SDBotox in 2023. Her deep industry insight and top-down, multi-faceted knowledge is a key asset to Aesthetic Training Academy attendees.

With 7 years of experience in aesthetics, Alayna is passionate about training and education. As a National Speaker & Trainer for Allergan Aesthetics, Alayna travels to medspas around the country teaching fundamentals and expert techniques.  She is the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at SDBotox, responsible for maintaining high clinical standards, coordinating with the operational departments, and continuing a culture of continuous learning. Her unwavering commitment to safety, natural results, and education makes her a respected industry leader and mentor.

After working as a Nurse Practitioner in pediatrics, Rica found her calling in aesthetics in 2019. She joined the SDBotox and Aesthetic Training Academy team in 2025, after excelling as the top provider at her previous medspa practice. As the Injectables Lead at SDBotox, she is the expert in full face assessments and selling the result, not the syringe. Rica's positive energy and passion for patient care have created a loyal following and set her apart as a go-to injector in Southern California. Her patients and colleagues love her for her expert knowledge, approachability, and her can-do attitude.

Maddy fell in love with aesthetics after her first lip filler appointment in nursing school and knew it would be her specialty. Her nursing career started on a cardiac floor, but she pursued her passion for aesthetics and joined SDBotox in 2021. Maddy is an expert in social media branding and has quickly become known within the aesthetic community for her lip augmentation skills, often treating patients who travel from around the country for her expertise. As a top provider at SDBotox, Maddy loves having fun and delivering serious results.
