Comprehensive Aesthetic Training

Self-paced online modules cover: aesthetics history; facial anatomy (skin, vessels, muscles, bone, ligaments); neuromodulators (pharmacology, dosing, reconstitution); facial aging; complications; HA filler rheology; assessment/treatment; consult skills; and a brief overview of lasers/IPL/microneedling/biostimulatory fillers. Content follows a required sequence with a suggested timeline for working professionals. Didactic assessments include: week-1 multipl-choice exam, week-2 and week-4 video assignments, and a week-3 case study. The Comprehensive Course adds 5 days of hands-on injecting: daily refreshers + specialty career sessions, then real-patient injections by area (toxin, lips, cheeks, chin). You’ll also receive your patients’ before/after photos shortly after course conclusion.

Your payment is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to course start date, and 50% refundable 14 days prior to course start date. After the payment has been processed, a member of our team will reach out to you via email to verify your license information. If, for whatever reason, you are deemed ineligible to participate in the course, you will receive a full refund. 

You will gain access to the course material at 12:00am PST on the first day of the course.

No prior experience is required! Our courses are designed for the provider with minimal or no aesthetic experience.

Because our Comprehensive Program includes 5 days of hands-on injecting, all attendees must have a current, unencumbered license as one of the following: MD, DO, PA, NP, RN.

If you are ineligible for enrollment due to inadequate qualifications, you will be given a full refund. 

If you are a Registered Nurse with an active, unencumbered license in any state, you are eligible to take this course. Aesthetic Training Academy by SDBotox is a California Board of Registered Nursing approved Continuing Education provider. 

"Nursing services may be rendered by a student when these services are incidental to the course of study of one of the following:
(a) A student enrolled in a board-approved prelicensure program or school of nursing.
(b) A nurse licensed in another state or country taking a board-approved continuing education course or a postlicensure course." Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 2729 

Upon successful completion of the Comprehensive Program, Registered Nurses will receive a certificate of completion including all 30 continuing education units (CEUs) needed for biyearly California license renewal. 

After successfully completing our Self-Paced Program, all attendees will be mailed a certification of completion. If you are a registered nurse, you will receive a certificate of completion which includes 15 continuing education units (CEU's).
