Course overview
This course will provide you with the background knowledge you need to be a successful aesthetic provider. Course content covers anatomy review, the science of facial aging, how to do a consult and an in-depth overview of neuromodulators and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, and an overview of energy-based devices and biostimulatory fillers. The content is divided over a suggested four-weeks, but can be completed at your own pace!

What specific topics and techniques will be covered during the training?
The online modules are self-paced and includes the following: The history of aesthetics; facial anatomy including vasculature, skin, muscles, bone, and ligaments; Introduction to neuromodulators including pharmacology, dosing, reconstitution; the science of facial aging; complication management; Rheology of hyaluronic acid dermal filler; Treatment and assessment with dermal filler; The art of the consult; and a review of lasers, IPL, microneedling, and biostimulatory fillers. The content is self-paced, although the suggested timeline is designed for working professionals. Because the the content builds upon itself, completing the modules sequentially is recommended.

Are there any prerequisites or prior experience required to enroll in the course?
No prior experience is required! The modules and the content are designed for healthcare professionals who are new to aesthetics, or those that want a resource for current practice.
What qualifications or certifications will I receive upon completion of the course?
Upon successful completion of this course you will be emailed a certificate of course completion, including15 hours of continuing education. This certificate should be retained for submittal to the Board of Registered Nursing for your bi-annual license renewal.
